 Hello everyone from elder bush!

This week has been a super week

Dont misunderstand me, queens is still super crazy and its still hard to adjust to the way missionary work is done here but i am trying to only have my focus be on the super awesome stuff

From the words of a really smart and wise missionary:
"Just enjoy your mission, and everything will be well!"

To start the week off right we had a super fun pday and i played vollyball
I love volleyball so that was one of my favorite parts of this past week
Our district was pretty bad but we had some standout players
Some of these players included the other greenie in the district, our district leader and one of our zone leaders. All super cool missionaries.
The rest of the excitement from this week was a little but of drama that includes things that went down during the last transfer of this area
If you know me then you know that i love hearing about drama/tea but sadly the missionaries in my district suspect that i may be a spy from the mission president so i dont know a whole lot about the things that happed but i have learned some things
When i first got to this zone i was very overwhelmed so i didn't know things were about to go down. This week the district leared that one elder who was in our district last transfer informed the president of things that were happening in his district that were maybe a little bit against the standards. He told the president not to take action until after he was transferred because he feared for his life.
So maybe my district that i was thrown into was not the best in the past, but introducing two new missionaries changed the mental of our distict. We were all striving to be the best missionaries and move past any mistakes that we had, then all the sudden the mission president started to reveal that he had knowledge of past things.
Many things changed this past week because of past sins
Missionaries in leadership positions were dropped, my trainer thought he would be separated from his child, our zone leader even got emergency transferred (yes the one who was good at volleyball )
Its been a crazy week because of all these changes! Our mission president and his wife even showed up to one of our zone activities to check in on us
I still dont know much of what happened to cause such a destress but i know it might have had something to do with a super bowl party hahahaha

Anyways the real highlights of the week were all spiritual
I baptized Fiona on sunday and this experience helped me grow my testimony to know that God really does love all his children
This was my first baptism of the mission and it was so cool
All glory to God because without him i know i could never do something that awesome just with my own little self
My trainer Elder Ralphs did most of Fiona's teaching haha so shout out to him

My own spiritual thought this week really struck me when i was reading in my personal study the Book of Mormon
In Mosiah 18 I noticed in verse 30 that the name mormon was said many times and it seemed that the name mormon was a very special name to the people of alma
i also noticed that the church that they formed had every right to be named the church of mormon.
But... this is not the name they choose to represent themselves as
In verse 17 It says that they were called the church of christ!!! I thought this was so cool and it really is a testament that we don't go by the nick names "mormons" anymore
We are the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
The name of christ is powerful and is what our church is all about. We are centered on him
In this powerful name i share this testimony in the name of Jesus Christ amen

Love all of you
Miss all of you
